Path not found windows xp




















Everything seemed okay to that point. As soon as I clicked on the 'Get started button', I get the errors, " Run time error '76': Path not found " and " Error: Automation error. I have had Intuit's tech support involved up to level 3. They had me uninstall and reinstall the MS Office suite, and several older Office apps that might have been causing conflicts. They concluded this is a Windows registry problem with a corrupt path and say I have to take it to Microsoft to resolve.

What is the program name that you are trying to install? I would suggest you to try the following methods and check if it helps. If it is not compatible with Windows 7, then try to run program in Compatibility mode and check if it helps. Thanks for your feedback. Vijin, thank you for the very quick and thorough response. Here is my response to your suggestions:. As stated in my problem description, the program I am trying to install is QuickBook Contact Sync, provided by Intuit. It is the Win7 bit version. I am running Win7 bit.

This was verified by the QuickBooks level 3 technical support. I had several variants of both and versions. If you saying your seeing the arp and the reply, and your wired devices has the correct mac for the wireless box -- then how can it be something wrong with the wireless machine??

Your sniffing the traffic -- you would see the packets if they were there, be it your machine wanted to process them or not.

As to the mac starting with f0? What are the next 2 and can tell you what the maker of the card is all.. Maybe your router has an issue with the mac of the win 7 wireless card?? Here is thread where the person says their router would not allow him to enter the F0: mac into his routers allowed mac address list, etc. I did try to change the mac from the windows driver settings but it just stays the same on the wire no matter what i type in the box.

I did try it with an ubuntu live cd What machine were you doing that on? I have found the ubuntu driver for the wifi card on the laptop and installed it from the live cd. It is one of the restricted closed source ones.

Just to prove that the router is doing something funny and it is not windows 7, i tried the same things with ubuntu. Ubuntu on the win7 laptop can not ping the wired side of the network either, just the same as when running windows 7. Posted July 20, edited. So your saying you can talk to wireless devices but not wired ones. There is no mac filtering set up on the router and all mac addresses are unique, the only thing i notice is that the win7 one has a mac beginning f0:xxxx wheras all the others are xxxx I have tried changing the mac address but it seems this feature is also broken in the win7 driver and my setting is ignored.
